Granada Spain - Highlight is L'Ahambra the palace and fortress of the Moors

Granada is situated in a beautiful locale with the highest mountains in Spain surrounding the city.  It makes for a great evening picture. L'Ahambra was one of the highlights of visiting the city.

 

There is much to learn about the times of the Moors and essence of water and gardens in the lives of the royals during the Moors time until 1492. The architecture in the city of Granada really changed from places like Barcelona.

We always rented the audiophones that provided good information to us.

The gardens were wonderful and contrast to the beating sun which was relentless.  Felt like Arizona!
